Mr. Marco

Kids need to connect.

Take back play time with better screen time. Ages 2-7 are especially critical for your child’s social emotional development. Give them the structure and enrichment they need, without leaving home. Join us for Mr. Marco’s Story Circle!

You have a magical way that makes the storytime so inviting. You’re the Mr. Rogers of Zoom.
We love you Mr. Marco. I have actually called you my quarantine hero.
It became a place of comfort and connection for all of the children as their world and ours shrank.

More playtime, not meetings.

Rather than making your child use Zoom like an adult, I combine my expertise in online facilitation and early childhood development to create convenient, structured experiences that help kids connect. Magical storytelling and imaginative interaction collide to give each kid a truly special experience in a safe, remote environment where the technology disappears.

Adventures are endless, even at home! Join Mr. Marco and up to three other kids (ages 2-7) for unmuted play in a lightly-structured virtual childcare session. Through improvised free play, we're maintaining social development while connecting with each other in a a safe & fun way.

I’m Mr. Marco.

(Or Marco Doherty, for the grown-ups.) I began this line of work in my first career as an actor. I traveled the country playing Flounder in the national tour of The Little Mermaid and saw just how far a little magic can go. That inspired me to develop my one-of-a-kind skill in children’s entertainment and early education.

I’ve worked for organizations like Equinox Kid’s Club and Cultivating Literacy, teaching everything from music to cooking to reading. My passion lies in helping families at a most important time in their child’s life by promoting empathy and imagination.
